We are supplying MMIC, Foundry Services and Epitaxial Wafers based on III-V (GaN, GaAs and InP) materials. With our advanced technology, OMMIC has proven itself as a leader in its field, providing its customers with cutting edge performance in the space, telecommunication and defense markets.
OMMIC made the strategic choice to locate all its activities in France, on the historic site of Limeil-Brévannes (near Paris). The site occupies an area of more than 16 000 m² spread over 5 buildings including 10% clean rooms. This is where all our MMICs have been mass-produced for more than 40 years —manufacturing three generations of III – V compounds, MESFETs, pHEMTS, and now, GaN HEMTs.
Having more than 40 years of experience in process development, OMMIC has a wide portefolio of processes and has released some very innovative ones. OMMIC develops its own processes with a fully open foundry Policy. This means anybody can use it with up-to-date design kits. Before moving to production, OMMIC offers free design rule checking (DRC) to ensure designs can be manufactured safely. OMMIC offers Full Wafer run for maximum flexibility or Multi-Project Wafer (MPW) for cost-effective prototypes.
OMMIC provides its Process Design Kit for customers to design their own product. All our processes are available for full wafer foundry services. This services comes with on-wafer test and visual inspection. Before manufacturing all projects are checked by our team using the OMMIC design rule checker.
OMMIC design team provides custom design MMIC services based on customer’s specifications and statement of work, from DC to W-band. The design flow includes several reviews where close discussion with the customer ensure that the final MMIC will really enhances the final system.
