COVID-19 : OMMIC information note

Dear OMMIC Customer, Suppliers, Partners,

The Coronavirus (COVID-19) has been spreading globally for a few weeks now and we would like to update you on the current situation at OMMIC.

We have been in contact with many of you to inform you that your wafers are safe in the fab, with few impacts so far. Indeed, last week, we have been focussing on protecting our employees and all suppliers on site. We have worked on business continuity procedures and have activated it. Among it, we can highlight we have :

• Apply strict rules for hygiene with immediate sanitizing and social distancing.
• Cancel all employee travels and non-critical visits
• Put in place home office to all function whenever possible

Following the latest development in France, we have taken additional safety measures by applying a partial shutdown of our activities. This means we have reduced the number of employees on site to a minimum level in order to contain the virus spread, while maintaining core deliveries and site safety.

We are putting all efforts to secure timely deliveries, but we are depending on worldwide limitations related to transportation and the evolution of the local politics regarding confinement.

The COVID-19 has become a global crisis and a terrible challenge for us. We count on your support and your understanding in this difficult situation. With it, we are confident we will continue to timely supply state-of-the-art GaN and GaAs products and services, even in this difficult time.

Meanwhile, OMMIC sales team (local and corporate) continue to function normally and will be providing you all the support needed. Please do not hesitate getting back to us for any request on this matter.
