24 – 34 GHz ULTRA LOW NOISE AMPLIFIER

DESCRIPTION

The CGY2128UH/C2 is a high performance GaAs Low Noise Amplifier MMIC designed to operate in the K and Ka-bands. The device has an exceptionally low noise figure of 1.3 dB and 24 dB at 29 GHz. The onchip matching provides 10 dB of Input Return Loss and 10 dB of Output Return Loss. It can be used in radar, telecommunication and instrumentation applications.

The die is manufactured using OMMIC’s Advanced 130 nm gate length high Indium content mHEMT technology. The MMIC uses gold bonding pads and backside metallization and is fully protected with Silicon Nitride passivation to obtain the highest level of reliability. The 130 nm mHEMT technology is currently under evaluation for use in Space Flight Equipment.
